    A Black Whats It...?

OK, here is the black whats it......

The end with the crank handle on it does just that, it cranks round and round. The end with the lever on it moves back and fort, and the cup on the end of that has a piece that looks like it might pop something out.

The only markings on it are K.F.C. but I'm sure it has nothing to do with chicken.

Maybe this one won't be so easy!

Looks like it might be a case trimmer, without the die/cutter, used when reloading pistol/rifle cartridges.

Oh, so it is for Kentucky Fried Chicken! Takes a lot of shells to kill that many birds!!

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

Well I am in Japan, so that kind of equipment is rather scarce

I remember as a child, there was such a device bolted to my granddad's bench. He used it as a nut cracker, It would perfectly pop a Pecan open exposing unbroken meat on the inside. May not be the real use but it worked.

I would look more toward the reload craft, as suggested by Don...

OR could be used to crack Chicken.... NO, Nevermind

It could be almost anything. Case trimmer was my first thought.
Or some kind of compression device, not unlike a pen press.

I would guess a tool to put compression rivets into something.

I vote for a case trimmer for reloading as well. K.F.C. was/is a firearms mfg/importer. If I remember correctly, they were part of the PINE company from Japan and i think had something to with Daiwa as well.

    Regards,
