    Photos of wood

Here is a site with color-correct photos of just about every species of wood you can imagine. Warning: this site will take some time to load if you're not on a broadband connection.

    Cheers,

    Kevin

Neat site Kevin - thanks. Saved it in my favorites.

    Hi Kevin,
Thank you for that site, it has already been helpful as I needed information on some Madagascar Ebony and found it there. Color trueness is so important, a good find. That is a resource worth sharing and I am so glad you did.

    Another site

    Here's another site:
Not nearly as extensive but it does load faster and has many of the more common varieties.

Any way there can be a "Links" site here at FWWF?

    These would be great resources.
