Ghost in my shop!

My clearview DC system has a remote that uses a 110V receiver that controls 220v relay that turns on the DC. Which I really like!

When I turn on my lathe (powermatic) -- at a certain range of RPMs my DC starts up.. On it's own -- push the off button and within a few seconds with lathe running the DC starts back up.. A real nuisance !!

Ghost in the shop. (right frequency ). Ghost that is...

When I use the remote to start my Oneida DC the ceiling fans and lights in the family room 30' away come on...but when I stop the DC with the remote, the fans and light keep running. Dang ghosts.

 Paul i have those ghosts too. In my shop i turn the lights on and the air cleaner comes on, its a Grilly with infrared remote. Seems the lights give off enough in the right sort of code to activate the air cleaner.:D

Yes Andrew not a very good thing!

I have never had any trouble using the remote ( on and off)

Don't like the "Running" on it's own volition. Ghost of killed trees that my lathe has chewed up! :)
