Black gum trays

These are for my sons church. They are turned from the same piece of crotch. Ripped it right down the pith, hoping it would look the same on both of them. Never does what ya want. Owell they are what they are. He really likes them, and they will be replacing the ice cream buckets there using now.;)

Definitely a step up from ice cream buckets, Steve. (Although I guess the bucket will hold more money.) Nicely done all the way around. :thumb:

I knew I told you "nice job" but it didn't post...make sure you toss in the first buck!! It'd be $5 if the were lousy . Nice job Steve...proud of ya :thumb:

Very nice Stephen. Next thing you know you will be getting orders for them.:)

BTW where does the black come from in the name of the wood?:dunno: The look pretty white to me.
Rob don't really know.:dunno: We have sweet gum and black gum down here, but they look a lot a like to me. They tell me they are related to the maple some how. Chuck, the friend of mine that i got this from can tell from 100 yards away.
Thanks everyone as my son said they were well recived.
