Had a wreck with a Japanese Chiyogami blank I got from Penl8the (Branden)!
Now how am I going to save this beautiful blank???????

Had a wreck with a Japanese Chiyogami blank I got from Penl8the (Branden)!
Now how am I going to save this beautiful blank???????

Plugged damaged end with Bee's Wax, dipped the end in Med CA, sprayed with accelerator several times to build up the CA on the damaged end.
Turned down, sanded with 400x and buffed with super fine steel wool.

Turned out a lot better than I thought it would.

Looks just like my last circuit board pen I did! Pretty much the same fix, but I left mine on the lathe and taped around the blow out and glued. Looks like your way worked just as good if not better!
