It depends on how much you use it as to how valuable it is to you. If it just sits on your shelf then it becomes an interesting curiosity. :rofl:

Thats it she needs to adopt me!!!!! where is she gettin so many good items.. its one thing for tool hunter to get lucky once in awhile but this lady is gettin great deals all the time!!! that catch is another hundred plus worth of goodies

Larry, she's pretty lucky in lots of things...she loves to go to the casino or the racetrack once in a while for fun....walked out with a wad of cash on several occasions.... :thumb:

It's a Stanley #75. I like having one, it's great for the occasional little trim of a rabbet, where you need a bullnose. Works best if very sharp - like any plane.

They usually sell for around $15-30, without the box, the box adds a fair amount to the value.

Thanks Larry, she'll love to hear that. She's 77. She's been going a long time to a hospice grief support group since my step-dad died last year, and every old guy there would like to marry her......

Let's not forget the plane. Notice that the blade comes all the way to the edge of the plane, so it is great at getting into corners. I have a Stanley 72 rather than 75, and use it far more than I thought I would.
