    Greetings

    Greetings from Arkansas:

I think Iíve lurked here long enough and need to introduce myself. Iím retired and moved to Arkansas earlier this year. Iíve been actively involved in woodworking for 35+ years. My current project is to finish the inside of the shop I had built on this property so I can get on with woodworking. Although I do have an old lathe that I have enjoyed using in the past, I would not classify myself a turner. I see myself as being creative not artistic. I view any plan not my own as a Ďstarting pointí. Things I make are strong, but usually not graceful. My most treasured tool in my shop is a simple little center punch. Itís knurled with flats ground on opposite sides. Stamped on one side is my fatherís name. On the other side the date when he made it: August 20, 1919.

Iím looking forward to learning and participating here at Family Woodworking.

    Welcome Norm!
This is a great place, as you've likely noticed
What's the story on the tractor? Looks like maybe an M, but is that a single-wheel front end?

Welcome aboard Norm. Glad you quit peeking through the winder and came in and told us who you were! Look forward to seeing pictures of the shop you are building.

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!
