Some good News from Afghanistan

For those non military type the E-6 means that now he is getting more money and more responsibility and less of a chance of seeing a combat zone so it is significant. There are 9 level of enlisted rank and he has achieved the first 6. This also will make him eligible for more schooling which could lead to a commission as an officer.

Scheduled to be home sometime early in Jan. BTW the promotion was a tapping out meaning he got the promotion based on hard work and merit not by taking a test and scoring high. :D
