That's a great deal... Someone should take up you on it. It's a great way to move up to DSLR. I wished I'd have had this deal when I bought the digital rebel several months ago!

That is a good deal. So what are you moving up to Bartee?

P.S. I've got that IS 18-55 lens (IS = Image Stabilization), it's a nice one.

Nice deal. If it was a Nikon, I might be seriously tempted.

    Darren,

We have these things called "Spot Light" awards at work. So I just poke them away on Amazon gift cards. I work hard and smart and get rewarded

I have loved my XS. It has been a great camera and taken great pictures. But like all geeks, there is always more.

I have been taking pictures since I was 14 ( I am not 62 ). I mostly post on the web mysaw.com but with this new camera and 18.0-megapixel CMOS and ISO 100-6400 I an easily do some great prints. AND it is just a better TOOL.

So I am getting this Amazon link I am including the 55-250 lens for $150 off !!!

Good deal. "hundreds of pictures" is barely a warm up for a camera like that. My cameras take thousands, in one case hundreds of thousands, of shots before being turned over.
