Anyone recommend a few good books on building stair cases? I have been asked to build a stair case for a brand new house. They want something nicer then a basic stair case. I will be making all the cabinet, flooring, railings and stair cases. Then get to install it all.

Don't know of any books, but get ahold of Tod Evans on this board. The man is an absolute artist with staircases (and anything else)!

He sent me the info on a book. Should be here in a few days. No, dont ask the name of the book cuse I dont remeber right now. I do know that this book is huge and has loads of info.

Well, I found out today that the job is put on hold as they ran out of money. Oh well still have a few small jobs lined up.
