Birdhouse Ornament Contest - We Have a Winner!

Congrats everyone.

Thanks for putting this on and thanks for the votes. It was great fun and all were winners. Hope to do it again next year. Maybe try ornaments. Hopefully more well participate. Hope you all had as great a Christmas as I did. The whole family was together for the first time in many years. It was great.

Just wanted to say, my bird house was made from a burly branch off of an old flowering almond bush I cut out. Like the piece in the picture background. The top was a piece of wood I took out of a friends garbage can he has in his shop. He said it was cocobolo, I'm not sure that is what it is.

Dang! Just when I was getting all excited about finally winning something I realize I disqualified myself by not reading the rules!

But I think Don B is right. No bird, no birdhouse. Who knows, anything could be living in there, maybe even a spider.

Now that Christmas 2010 is passed, how about a spider house contest?
