Thumbs up Latest from Afghanistan - No Longer there

Well My son is stuck at Camp Dwyer due to weather so they can't come home until the weather lets them. At least he is no longer in the front lines.

I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious.

I am just glad he's out of that god forsaken country. He will be reunited with his wife and 3 kids soon and we will be able to talk on the phone soon but it'll be a few months before he can fly out here from North Carolina, the important thing is he ain't over there.

With the promotion he got he can now apply for Independent Corpsmen School which will mean a year in San Diego so he will be close enough where we can get together. Now he's in North Carolina so we don't get to see him as often as we would like

"no longer there" That's the good news. The bad news is trivial in comparison. Glad he's out and safe.
