I Remember The Winter Of 51

We just don't get winters like we used to!
These photos were taken on 35mm color film in the early spring of 1951 on our street in Hanna, Alberta when I was just a 5 year old.

Great pictures! I will never complain about shoveling my driveway again.

Wow, that is some snow storm!

The wind sure can drift that white stuff into a real mess eh?

    Great pics!

I remember days like that back in '59 when I lived in Calgary. From there we went to Edmonton where one winter was enough for my parents and off to Victoria we went. What a change!

And, just like the kids in the pictures, we spent hours of everyday playing in that stuff...now I just want to curl up in front of the fire and look at it through the window!

Kind of reminds me of our snow last year. But your right globle warming is having an impact on the weather right now
I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious.
