    My First Patriot

10K Gold plated and dressed in Caragana.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool, burnished with Caragana wood shavings and applied 6 coats of BLO burnishing between dried coats.
Not sure yet if I like this kit.

Les you come up with ways to make standard pen kits looking very special. That one shines.
I find the Patriot a good addition to the arsenal. They are versatile and can use blanks that might go unused otherwise. I find they sell fairly well also. More utilitarian than glamorous.

Actually I'm a fan of that style pen and I like the click version also. Yours is very well done. I think I like it over the Wall Street style pens because it shows more wood and less metal and plastic. Just my preference.

I'm not sure either Les, but as expected, your match of kit and wood is legendary!
