10K Gold plated and dressed in Caragana.
Sanded to 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool, burnished with Caragana wood shavings and applied 6 coats of BLO burnishing between dried coats.
Not sure yet if I like this kit.

Not one I would pick out for myself. But we don't make these things to keep:thumb::rofl::rofl:
 
Les you come up with ways to make standard pen kits looking very special. That one shines.
I find the Patriot a good addition to the arsenal. They are versatile and can use blanks that might go unused otherwise. I find they sell fairly well also. More utilitarian than glamorous.
 
Actually I'm a fan of that style pen and I like the click version also. Yours is very well done. I think I like it over the Wall Street style pens because it shows more wood and less metal and plastic. Just my preference.
