Howdy

Thanks. I'm new to woodworking. Main project to this point was learning and collecting tools. Time to start doing now.

First, I need to finish my kids' playset I started in the fall. This was my first time using woodworking tools other than a circ saw. Routed all edges and countersunk the nuts. All redwood.

My first "real" project will be a six legged huntboard. I know it's a big bite to chew for a newb but it's what gets me going.

Still need to finish the roof, enclose the bottom as a cabin, and attach a spiral slide I picked up off CL.

Welcome back Michael!

Did you have a good deer season?

My buddy that goes deer hunting here in Japan, did not go this winter, so I'm missing my venison steaks :(

That playset looks great, nice attention to detail! :thumb:

Took a doe with my bow at 17 yds this year. I've been enjoying a little venison here and there.

Does your friend hunt in Japan or travel elsewhere? Curious about the hunting opportunities there.
