Man i hate when that happens.

As far as the bandaid goes i always use elec tape over them as they stay on longer.

I know I often touch a spinning workpiece to check my progress, and I have almost done it a couple times on NE forms. We woodturners are creatures of habit and go into autopilot at times.....glad to hear it wasn't worse!

Heal well, and looking forward to seeing the finished piece!
