    PM number limit

Is there anyone besides me who struggles to keep their number of PM's under the limit? I like to save some that have lots of info in them, and I'm always just under the line...............

No problem at all. Just export them, then clear them out...

I normally do not have much of a problem, but right now with all I need to receive for the swap, I have to weed out the non essentials reasonably quickly

Export them? I didn't know we had that capability? How, and where do they get exported to?

Use the checkboxes on the right to select the ones you want to save. Scroll to the bottom. There is a drop down. Select "Download as X". X is your preferred format. Probably text. Make sure you can open the text file and read the messages, then delete them.

My PM box fills pretty regularly, so every couple of weeks I export all of them to a text file, and nuke about half of them. The text files aren't the easiest way to read them, but they're searchable. Somewhere, either here on the forum or on my computer, I have every text message I've gotten since the forum was started.

Thanks for the solution. I've been deleting them except for the real important ones
