We just buy them frozen in the groc store. The cooking consists of filling the pan with water and putting them on to boil.

Now if you want to pan-fry them in onions after that, that's optional.

We used to deep fry them instead of boiling -- major yum -- but gave that up while back.

Deep fried Pirogis Now that sound good.

Kind of like the chinese dumplings. The fried ones are much better than the steamed ones. Hmmm maybe chinese tonight.
