    Chiyogami paper

Made this pen for the wife's valentine's present. She kept making it a point to tell me that she didn't have her own pen so this is what I made her!

The blank is Japanese Chiyogami paper wrapped on the brass tube and cast in clear resin. It turned super smooth and finished like glass. Thanks to Branden (penl8the on IAP) for the blanks.

Still working on the photo taking, buying more lighting as the budget allows!

    Very nice.

I think I have seen a pen made of a similar material by another member.

    That's a sweet-looking pen, Mason. Well done.

You did a nice job finishing the blank.
    Well done.

    Les,
I actually thought of you at one point while working on this pen because I remembered seeing your "I saved a chiyogami" post a while back. Thankfully there was no need for me to reference your techniques on this one! That would have made for a long night for me!
