    Weather Radio still works

Well our weather alert radio still works. Been going off all evening. Several inches of rain, a twister warning. Life is good in the mid-west. Can't wait to see what spring brings.

Nothing any better than sitting on the carport during a storm. Gets plum wild sometimes.

I think I'd be sitting under the carport, myself. I love watching a good storm roll in.

Batten down and stay safe, Steve.

Ah, Vaughn, you are correct. Fighting those shingles would be no fun

Turned to snow (again!) here. About three inches on the ground now, and 3~5 more predicted before it's over. Come on, Spring!

Jim, you guys have no luck.

Actually, I think we should have had the snow. Hearing reports of a Amish family washed away in a flash flood. Not a lot of info yet.

Steve I use to live just south of Asbury Park NJ right on the beach and would spend hours watching storms on the boardwalk. Jake says he gets to see some good ones roll through ISU.

Weather guy last night said we've topped a nundred inches of snow for the year, making us the snowiest place in Ohio so far. Even (usually snowbound) Cleveland has only had just over fifty inches.

At least ours has been coming in 6~10 inch increments, and not a couple feet at a time like some other places.
