Don didn't you know that's what guard rails are. Braille for driving.
Shoot out here we even got braille rumble strips on both sides of the big roads and some even have it in the middle.

I remember hearing Stevie Wonder doing a live interview once on one of the LA radio shows (Mark and Brian). He and his entourage were late showing up at the radio station, and Stevie apologized, saying "We were late this morning because they let me drive".
