    pdf files

I'm assuming we can upload/attach a pdf to our post, no?

If so, is there a file size limit on it?

The reason I ask is that when I scan something in from our scanner, the pdf files are usually GIANT.

Be sure that the background of your scans are white by laying a piece of paper behind the scanned area. Dark backgrounds can make a typical small pdf about 1000 times larger.

There is 150 kb limit on the pdf file size.

Try scanning it in the lowest resolution also. .pdf doesn't usually make file sizes big, I use adobe standard all the time at work for making instruction manuals. If your pdf's are coming out really big, it's because of the scanned image, not the file type. I don't suppose you can scan to another format that you can edit?

Or, if you don't need it as a pdf, scan it to a jpg file...

By all means check the PDF program settings. Odds are some of the settings are off. I would check the DPI (dots per inch) settings, probably set to 600 DPI or close.

I just had the opposite problem. I created a high DPI image for an add and then didn't notice the PDF program was set to 72 DPI and totally messed me up.
