Bob, don't know how I missed this the first time. Sorry about the first company, their loss. It is hard to understand sometimes the thought process that goes on. Here's hoping you and your old company come to a positive decision and you blow the socks off of the competition.

I wonder how many times in my long life I have encountered the scenario of hire inexperienced to save money but lose money because of inexperience, inadequacy,etc.

I always hired the best I could find, payed above normal, and ended up with wonderful people and very successful business.
