    Perfect Fit Longwood

Titanium Gold Twist Ballpoint dressed in a piece of Spalted Pecan from a box full of timber I received from Scott SDB777 (IAP) Thanks Scott!
Turned between centers, sanded to 400x, filled worm tracks with MINWAX sanding slurry, sanded to 400x, buffed with Ultrafine Steel Wool and applied 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Gloss Polyurethane.

Not to take away from a great pen...but Minwax sanding slurry? Is this a product or are you adding stuff to Minwax? Looks like it works very well and the tip portion of the pen has a lot of character!

MINWAX Sanding Slurry: Mix the sanding dust from the pen blank with the MINWAX Poly to fill voids.
    Works great for me!

Another beaut, Les. The Perfect Fit is one of my favorite kits to make, but I'd not seen it done in longwood style beefore.

Ahhh...got it. Other than CA, that would work for any liquid finish...very cool!

Very cool pen. Great tip on a finish. Bet that would work on any piece.
