    Walnut Bowls

This bowl is about 10" in diameter, 5" high. The walnut came from a person in our parish who had seen the bowl that I donated to a church auction. I did not know them but they did bring me 2 nice chunks of walnut from a parent's home in Michigan. I met the parents this last week and gave them a little natural edge bowl from one of the logs. They seemed happy with it. The last pic is of the little bowl that I gave them.

Good stuff, Wayne. That first one looks like it'd be a tough shape to turn (especially the inside). The second one looks a lot like a little mesquite bowl I blew up a few nights ago.

Vaughn it does not look like it blew up to me.

The big bowl is beautiful, great shape, great wood. However, I can easily see a person getting major attachment to the little one.

    Enjoy,
