is it possible to remove from Internet

Is it possible to delete/remove a picture from the Internet?
We have some pretty knowledgable 'puter techs here, maybe one can give a tip.
I found something today I want to remove from the Internet. It came up with Google. Possible?
I'm guessing the answer is "no". But want more expert input.

Depends on how popular it is. Is it something that other people may have already copied and saved off? Then probably not.

If it's something you put somewhere, maybe.

Google has archives of a lot of things. You can even pull up old pages from way back when...

If you have access and can delete it, you can try, but it doesn't guarantee it won't come up again someday.

Frank, If you know where the picture is posted, try contacting the webmaster or owner and ask them to remove the picture.

If you're not sure of the owner of the domain, use WhoIs to lookup whom the domain is registered to and their contact info.

If you post your pictures in Photo bucket and then delete them they will disappear.

Or you could just tell Darren privately what it is and let him help you?

They will, unless someone has copied the photo(s) and posted them somewhere else.

To get an idea of how widespread the picture is used, try http://www.tineye.com This is widely used in the online dating community to help determine if someone is using their own picture or not.
