    Layout pen

This is a gift I finally got to. It's a layout pencil. Uses 1/8" lead and the cap un-screws for a sharpener. Some really cool spalted maple that was the corner cut-offs from a future HF. 5 coats of CA. It for guys that do a lot of woodwork or other lay-out stuff where a large size lead is handy.
    Enjoy!!

They also sell colored lead for them and my students sell them like hotcakes to art students at the other end of the building. Great job Jim!

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

Love it! I've got one of those and I like it for general rough marking around the construction projects

That is a pretty pretty pen....
I made the wife an artist sketch pen very similar to this... still haven't made one for myself yet... guess I should treat me now?

Sweet! I use a mechanical drafting pencil for marking walls at work. Have you seen any kits for that size of lead?
