This is a gift I finally got to. It's a layout pencil. Uses 1/8" lead and the cap un-screws for a sharpener. Some really cool spalted maple that was the corner cut-offs from a future HF. 5 coats of CA. It for guys that do a lot of woodwork or other lay-out stuff where a large size lead is handy.

Love it! I've got one of those and I like it for general rough marking around the construction projects

I made the wife an artist sketch pen very similar to this... still haven't made one for myself yet... guess I should treat me now?:dunno:
 
Sweet! I use a mechanical drafting pencil for marking walls at work. Have you seen any kits for that size of lead?
