Online Sources for Router Bits

There are lots of good brands of premium router bits. I buy most of mine from Woodline.com which are very good quality, and FAR FAR cheaper than the premium bits. Yes, MLCS, Whiteside, Freud, CMT, and others may be better - I have a few for heavily used bits, but mostly I buy Woodline - great service, cheap shipping, etc. For example a solid carbide spiral upcut bit that generally sells from $25 to $40 is about $10 from Woodline.

A lot of them only sell their own brands, but here's a list of good suppliers I've dealt with: Infinitytools, Holbren, Amazon, Hartvilletool, Woodcraft, Rockler, Eagle America, MLCS, Woodline, routerbitworld, Lee Valley.

My favorite bits are Freud. I have bits from Woodcraft, Woodline, etc and they are OK, but they do not have the edge out of the box like the Freud. They really hold an edge compared to the others.

Normally, I have an idea of which bits I want next and look for sales.
