    Interesting stuff.

    I was perusing the web looking at various woodworking sites and came across this site:

    Ever wonder what the difference is between a groove and a dado cut? Or what is the difference between a haunched mortise and tenon and and a blind haunched mortise and tenon? And what the heck is a barefaced mortise and tenon? It's all here (with drawings, too)

    Hey...I went to this site and checked out a few thing. While it is basic and straight forward, I thought it was an excellent site for newbies. Then when they have outgrown the info there....they can come play with the "Big Dogs"!

    Good point. What I want is a site that shows me how to make some of the Japanese and Chinese joints I've seen. Not that I would ever have time to make them, but it would be fun to study the topic...
