I've bought pulls from VanDykes and Rockler. Van Dykes has a pretty good selection.

Look in the Lee Valley hardware catalog. Published in sept. 2010, pages 104-109. They have some brass knobs that are 3/8" dia. They are also a good source for hinges. I got the hinges for the sivlerware chest from them.

I've used some of these T-knobs before in a jewelry box, worked nice, looked good... http://www.simplyknobsandpulls.com/t-knobs/view-all/

Sorry I read the post wrong. I was thinking knobs instead of pulls.
