I've been married for only 18 years and I don't know what I'd do without my lovely wife, I can only imagine what it would be like after 54 years.

Just being there for her will mean an awful lot, I'm glad she has you guys to help her along.

Well i truly do appreciate all the kind words. Showed the wife all the responces and she coun't belive it. So thanks again all. Have a lot to do in the next few days just don't really no where to start.

Steve, so sorry to hear of your loss. It isn't easy for anyone. I hope your wife is handling it well. She hurts for herself, her mom and her father. It can stack up so take extra care of her.
58 years, that is a long time. I don't know what I would do if I lost my spouse and we have only been alive for 56 years. That woman just lost a huge amount of her world.
Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Also praying for healing for the whole family. Ours became closer when my Step Father died. I hope this turns out to be as good as it can be for your family.
