    Space seed

That's what I thought this looked like...wadda I know . My friend Adam needed a wedding present and asked me to make a HF for him. Through a comedy of errors...this is what we ended up with. BLM burl from Mike Smith. 6" and a 4.5" base. Acceptably thin with a 1/4 base for some ballast. RoS to 600, 2 coats Formby's Tung oil finish and on the fourth coat of gloss WoP. Hope ya like it…despite the pictures
    C&C used next time...

That is a good looking piece Jim. I got some good looking BLM when I stopped in and saw Mike. Bought almost $400 worth wood from him. Saved a ton of shipping.

I don't care what kind of seed it is, it sure came out looking pretty. Well done, Jim.

I am definitely with Vaughn on this one. Space can drop that kind of seeds into my home anytime.

    Enjoy,

    Jim
