    It's Magic

    I have wanted to make a few wands for a while. Thanks to a couple of you who suggested sites to look at I knew what I wanted to try. Mine does not stack up in the fancy handle area as theres are. But overall for a trial piece I like it. It is a piece of Dougles fir and ended up 15 1/2 inchs long

    Very cool, Dennis. The handle may be simple, but the form and proportions look good to me. Getting clean details in Douglas fir is hard to do. I'd say you pulled it off nicely.
