Hey, Portland Or people

I live about 210 miles for Portland and the riders are probably working their way to our little area. This week we have what is called "Hogs and Dawgs". Rider come and show their bikes and hot dogs are sold. Started out as a little group of local riders is an parking lot and in just a few years has grown to over 2000 bikes showing up. It only lasts one evening but riders still come from miles away. At 6pm they all fire their bikes up and rive them up. Really loud for a few minutes. Such a big event now the city has taken it over and every year a bike is raffled off. I haven't won one yet.
 
Those are tons of fun! We have a local Make A Wish Foundation ride called Rumble to the Summit...6000 bikes and ride up to the mountains for BBQ, music, lies and dancing. Huge pre-ride breakfast and more lies...haven't missed one in 8 years.
