Question for Vaughn - Picture Hanging

So, Sharon has a set of 4 framed prints that should be hung in so that they are in a square, symmetrical layout. Basically at the 4 corners, if that makes sense.

Just wondering what hardware would you recommend using to make sure that I get it right the first time?

    Any tips you can share?

    Thanks!

From what I understand, you should change the avatar to a turtle.

Actually some picture hanging tips could be useful.
My big problem when hanging multiple pics is getting them exactly the same height. I'll measure carefully from the ceiling and hammer in the hanger. Do same for next frame and it will be just a tiny bit higher or lower than the first one. I have even used laser lights, levels and full moon incantations. Nuttin' works.

That'll never work! Show me a square and true house, and I'll show you a ... well, I don't know, but it doesn't matter, cuz there's no such thing!

You just have to use the GPS coordinates from your smart phone. Then, if someone says "but they look crooked" you can always say "They're square to the earth!"

    Thanks,

Brent, I'm a bit short on time right now (headed out in a few minutes for my weekly pool league matches), but I'll post some pics later tonight and 'splain how we do it.

    No rush at all Vaughn!

These paintings have been waiting a couple of years to be put up, so it's not like we are in any kind of a huge rush (Can't wait to hear the comments from the peanut gallery).

Just thought you might have a couple of good tips to share...

    Thanks!
