Apologies if reviving this old thread caused anyone to read 5 pages of ancient history. I certainly do not want to be thought of as the history guy but feel adding to this thread will make it easier for future searchers. This is how I store most of my longer pieces of lumber. Recycled plywood, some luann, 5 degree angle, thin wall conduit, lots of staples, some drywall screws, voila! lumber rack. Very little wasted space. Holds tons. Utilizes difficult space.
Great i dea there Victor, thanks for resurecting this thread and sharing your method. I would only add a little tubing to cover the pipe in the event some wet wood works it way through the galvanising some day.
