    Water elm HF

The proper name for this wood is "Planera Aquatica". It is very nice wood for turning. This HF is about 8" tall with the wall thickness just under 1/4". It is finished with lacquer.

Dennis now that is a beauty. I like the form and the finish is outstanding. It seems like around here if it isn't shiney it don't sell well.

Beautiful hollow form, Dennis. Classic form, great finish, and I really like the natural edge rim.

    Very pretty, love the form!

Never heard of that wood before, is it indigenous or an import?

This is pretty close to perfection. The wood, form and finish is just beautiful.
