I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious.

Yet they are closing prisons here due to low occupation rates. Typical NY mentality.

And $650,000 for 3 staff positions??? Sure 24/7 but to do what ??? Again typical NY Gov't thinking.

My wife is from NY. When I retired we really thought about moving there. We could get more house for the buck. After we figured in the taxes and bottom line it was a no brainer. We didn't move to NY.
It wasn't a party unless it involved fire, an ATV, a chain saw and whiskey.

VA here I come... oh wait... I'm already 'there'!

The page is part of a pretty neat 'travelogue' by the way... For any who've ever sung 'the erie canal' they show 'all' of the locks.

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
