Rebuilding one of my old boats

Canvas canoes are different and that boat needs to be put back original with canvas. I don't know a lot about it but if you are on FaceBook look for Kettle River Canoes. He probably has a web site but I have never looked.

This guy restored canvas canoes full time and doesn't post a lot, but what he posts is high quality and good info.

I do know that you fill the canvas with a filler to get the smooth texture. Can't do that on mine because the fabric is flexible. But this is not my area of expertise!

I LOVE IT!!

I giggle every time I walk in and look at it. Makes me feel like a kid again! I need to put in the backband and it's ready to go back to the water. I sent a buddy of mine a photo and told me to expect a stamped when people see it.

And no,it's not named Nemo even though I am sure that it what everyone will refer to it as.

My good friend Phyliss said she wanted me to put my business name on, put it on top of the car and just drive around town.

Gave me a giggle too Jeff! It came out great. That'll get people's attention.
