I have a project I want to laminate and was thinking of just buying some veneer of some sort but looking around I need a source. I need 5-6 inches wide finishes size. Material doesn't matter as this is just for bending and not worried about the looks. I am looking for something thicker than most veneer I saw to. Someone point me in the right direction.

Yes I could saw my own but I was sort of hoping to just buy it.

Most veneer is 1/42". Some places sell 1/25" veneer, if that will be thick enough for your. I've also seen some 1/16" in a few places. Try Certainly Wood and see what they can offer you.

I like buying veneer like I buy hardwoods and plywoods. A place I can go see them and touch them. For veneers, Constantines is about 15 minutes from me and has a great selection of veneers. They also ship.

I am looking for something around 1/32 to 1/16". Not my first choice but skateboard and snow board veneers are maple and 1/6" thick and readily available. So I will probably go that route. Just adjust my curves in my cradle so I make the bends
