    Pecan utility bowls

I have been making a batch of pecan bowls (10). Two are small platters (wipe on poly finish), most have handles and a couple are very plain. Except for the platters they have oil / wax finish and are intended to be used. Attached is a picture of each style.

I like them too. The handles make them more practical.

Love the pecan wood... Texas has some big ole Pecans growing about... remember one standing in my mother's front yard at her last house... it was almost 2 feet diameter at about waist high to me.... I got a few limbs that broke off of it, but none of the trunk... too bad she sold the house and moved to a nursing home before it came down.
