    Potpourri Vase

Here is a cedar Potpourri vase I did for my SIL. She saw the one my wife uses and loved it. So here it is 5 1/2" across and 3 1/2" high. It has one coat of antique oil and then several light coats of lacquer. She wanted it shiney.

I missed this somehow, Bernie. Your SIL should be very pleased with this one. I like the lids you're using, too.

That looks great... beautiful shine.... I'll have to try your finish method... I never like the way my cedar pieces finish when I add a finish like oil or poly..haven't tried lacquer.... I often just leave them raw and buff out with a little carnuba... customers like to smell the cedar.

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
