    Nix based cutlist type software?

Cutlist seems to be the only piece of software, that keeps me on Windows. I have tried Cutlist under Wine, and it doesn't work (won't render). Have any of you found one that works under Linux or Unix? What do you Mac users use (I want to see if it has a unix port)? Anyone here tried Cutlist plus under Wine? (does it work?)

I wasn't sure where to post this, as it could be general discussions, or the Design forum, since software deals with project plans, etc. So my apologies if the mods have to move this.

    Thank you all!

    Randal,

    Try this: http://www.blender.org/

Don't know if it'll meet your needs. Doesn't sketchup run on *nix?

Other than that, I guess vbox is your best bet?

    Thanks,

    Bill

I have Virtualbox on my Mac and it does Windows just fine. (But no, I don't use cutlist. I don't use any sort of cutlist s'ware. I just work off sketchup drawings.)

And PS: Bill, Sketchup is Windows and Mac only, not Linux.
There's usually more than one way to do it...
