Anybody seen a kit for one of these?

Ran across an interesting pen design just now. It's probably been out for months, and I'm just now catching up. Anyway, see what you think.

Seems like you could make your own with a Bic-style refill ... but making it all in one piece would be both material- and labor-intensive. Still, there are some interesting ideas here....

you could probably turn something like that out of corian or some other plastics easily enough. It would be a matter of coming up with a chuck to hold the piece so you can core out the middle.
