after an almost 14 hr nap  (i was up for almost 28 hrs straight), and after picking up the wife :blah: from school today, spent hours of shopping (and getting several hundred get out of you know where free cards), i was set free to continue my woodworking adventures. first i figured out how many species (10) that i had on hand to devote to pens (40), and pencils (20), and then cut them to the proper dimensions. that will keep me out of mischief for a few hours when i get to turning them. then i went on to the advent candle holder parts, and made darned sure that everything was to the right size. by then it was going on 8pm, and i dedided to call it a day on a happy note.

last night i finished cutting the dadoes on the advent candle holder parts. the only real scary part was the center ones for the main cross, but they turned out ok. i've teased you enough, now i have some pics to go along with the words....
