I bet I loose my club membership card and golden key for this.

I just struck a trade, I am trading my 12 joiner

For an 8" similar to this one

I have a 6" and the 12" and I found that I use the 6" 99% of the time. Quicker and easier to use. I have had one board that I actually needed the 12" width since I restored it. I realized that an 8" would do what I need and replace both of these and free up a LOT of floor space. So I put it up on OWWM and found someone in the are that wanted it and happened to have an 8" he was restoring. So we struck a deal.

So who do I turn in my Decoder ring into?

Oh, the shame. :p

May as well go with what you'll use instead of what will impress the OWW collectors. ;) That Delta will still count as a vintage machine, so I'll bet they let you keep the decoder ring.

Check around...you can probably find someone willing to trade a 12" decoder ring for a 8" decoder ring and it will replace both the 6" decoder ring and the 12" decoder ring.

I have an 8" joiner. It works for me.

That 12" jointer is about as cool as it gets! Set of rollers on top, that could double as a planer! Great job on the restoration. Hey, do what you got to do, floor space is a premium in most shops.
