    Two pieces from Magnolia

I love the way Magnolia cuts and this wood has some nice curl. The vase was my first try with dye but I got lucky and it came out OK. Vase is 8" tall x 8" wide, the hat is 15-1/2" front to back.

Both pieces are nice, but the hat really stands out. Great work, Dennis.

Those are great. I wouldn't have any clue as to how to begin to make a hat.
