I put one of those on my saw when I got my new batch of blades... Can't say I've used it enough to know the difference, or whether it was the blades or the spring, but it works a lot better now...

great info on the blades .. just to have total clarification ... what material type? tooth style, etc... the Ellis site offers considerable options. Thanks.

When I called Ellis, I thought I knew what I wanted. As I spoke with the sales person, there were a lot of questions about how I was going to use my band saw. The discussion led me in slightly different directions, but I got a good range of blades, all of which have been very satisfactory. The folks at Ellis know their stuff, so don't hesitate to trust their guidance.

On this one it is just the center panel.
This one is the right pair are matched and the left pair are matched. I also tried the match the middle the best I could.
